A Gamer's Cheat Codes Wiki

Spyro the Dragon (スパイロ・ザ・ドラゴン) is a 1998 platform game developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation. It stars Spyro the Dragon, a young purple dragon. It is the first game in the iconic Spyro the Dragon series of video games.

On October 29, 2007, the game was made available for PlayStation 3, PSP and PS Vita in the PlayStation Store. Originally only in America and Japan, it has since been made available in Europe.

The game was also a commercial success, selling nearly 5 million copies worldwide. Two sequels, titled Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer in Europe and Australia, and Spyro X Sparx: Tondemo Tours in Japan) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, were later released for the PlayStation in 1999 and 2000, respectively.
