Welcome to "A Cheat Code Wiki"
You like cheat codes? Well you found them. There are currently 23 articles and counting filled with cheat codes from your favorite games (given it's been written). Feel free to browse and add to the collection of codes. Currently this wiki is run by Tomadom64. If you would like to make a contribution, please provide some sort of evidence to prove it is true, like pictures or video. This way, the wiki can have real codes and not false ones like the ones that have spread around the internet for years.

Cheat Codes[]

A cheat code is a character combination that is entered to change the game's behavior. For example, they can be silly, nonsensical cheats that turn a skateboard into a squid, or make your character as flat as paper. Some can add useful enhancements, like infinite ammo for weapons, or a level select to skip some of those annoying sections. Many have been created for a wide variety of games in the past, used to make games easier for players who figure them out, or simply used as inside jokes for developers. Regardless of the reasoning, they have entertained players for many years, and continue to do so today, from Gradius (NES) to Sonic Mania.

Some games may also feature a section where you can enter a password or cheat to obtain exclusive content, access levels you've already played/haven't played yet, or gain access to certain items early on. Games like the LEGO titles and licensed games like Cars generally contain these.
